SIFA has assisted many law firms in structuring business relationships with financial advisers and establishing IFA panels and joint ventures. Assignments are often preceded by partner briefings on Legal Services Act and regulatory issues, for which no fee charge is made. These sessions are conducted by Stuart Bushell, SIFA’s Legal Affairs Director, who was previously a Director of the Solicitors Regulation Authority and Chair of the Board of Transition at the Law Society.
